Breast Augmentation Before and After Pictures

Breast augmentation in Beverly Hills is a very popular procedure, commonly performed on an outpatient basis. The procedure typically takes about 1 hour to perform and is usually performed at an accredited surgery center in Los Angeles. Most women who undergo breast augmentation in Los Angeles or breast augmentation in Beverly Hills have a relatively quick recovery. After the procedure, patients typically will be in the recovery room for one hour after which time they are discharged.

On the day of surgery, you will meet initially with the nurse and then the anesthesiology staff, who will carefully explain the type of anesthesia they will be using. After this, Dr. Kapoor will re-examine you and review the surgical plan. Lastly, he will usually make some markings. After this, you will be escorted to the operating room, where you will be carefully monitored and general anesthesia will be administered. The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete, after which time you will be in the recovery room, where a nurse will carefully monitor you. You can expect to be slightly drowsy most of the day. Most patients do not have a significant amount of pain during this time and we recommend taking pain medications as needed every four to six hours. You can typically expect to be able to return to work in 3-5 days and start exercise and more strenuous activities in 3-4 weeks. Initially, Beverly Hills breast implants will be slightly high due to swelling in the muscle. After this, they will gradually settle over 6-8 weeks time. During this time, Los Angeles breast augmentation patients can help this process by massage of the breasts. At your first postoperative visit, our Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Office will provide instructions on how to perform Los Angles Breast Implant massage. • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small A
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Small D
  • Patient Height: 5' 4"
  • Patient Weight: 125 lbs

This 33-year old female patient desired a moderate breast augmentation in order to create a fuller, rounder profile of the breasts by enlarging her pre-op small A-cup breasts.

During the pre-op consultation, the different types of breast augmentation procedures available were discussed as well as the risks and complications associated with breast augmentation procedures and any surgery in general. After conferring with the patient, it was decided that 500 CC Moderate profile, smooth round saline implants were the best option for her to achieve the post-op small D-cup breasts that she desired.

During the Beverly Hills breast augmentation procedure, the saline implants were placed via inframammary incisions. Inframammary incisions are slightly curved incisions made beneath the breast- right at the fold under the breast.

Inframammary incisions are one of the main incisions preferred by cosmetic surgeons due to the fact that the incisions are large enough and in a place that the surgeon can optimally adjust the implant to bring about the best aesthetic appearance. These types of incisions also have been known to have minimal post-op surgical scarring, with any visible scarring tucked away underneath the fold of the breast, thereby effectively hiding the scar from view even when wearing undergarments and swimsuits.

This patient has also undergone an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) as well as liposuction of the abdomen and waist (flanks).

As you can see, the breast augmentation procedure for this patient has resulted in an overall fuller and rounder look and feel to her breasts with virtually no visible scarring. She has reported that she is very satisfied with the results and enjoys her new figure.

  • Patient Height: 5' 6"
  • Patient Weight: 135 lbs

This 26-year old female patient came to our office seeking to cultivate her pre-op small A-cup breasts into fuller, more curvaceous breasts through a breast augmentation.

During the pre-op consultation, it was decided that 500 CC Moderate profile, smooth round saline implants would be the best fit to bring about the breast size and profile that she desired. Although it has been reported in the past that silicone implants look and feel more like real breast tissue than saline implants, modern advancements in the field of cosmetic surgery has allowed for saline implants essentially look and feel just like silicone implants. These days, the decision between the silicone and saline implant is a matter of personal preference rather than choosing a more “superior” implant over the other- each implant will pretty much bring about the same results.

The implants were inserted underneath her breast tissue and muscle through an inframammary incision, which is a curved incision made under the breast, where the fold is located. By creating the incision site underneath the breast, any potential post-op scarring will be hidden away from sight underneath undergarments, bathing suits, or the fold itself. However, inframammary scars are known to heal quite well and not leave behind much visible scarring.

This patient has also undergone an abdominoplasty procedure (colloquially known as the “tummy tuck”) as well as liposuction procedures to her abdomen and waist (flanks). She has said that she is immensely satisfied with her rounder, fuller Full-C cup, borderline D-cup breasts and is overall very pleased with the results of her Beverly Hills breast implants.

This 33-year old female patient wanted to complement her slender frame with more curves through a breast augmentation in Beverly Hills procedure. She desired to enlarge her small A-cup breasts into fuller, curvaceous breasts in the mid-C cup range.

After discussing all the available breast augmentation options available to her and the potential risks and complications associated with any type of surgical procedure as well as the risks and complications specifically associated with breast augmentation procedures, it was decided that 450 CC Moderate profile, smooth round saline implants for both of her breasts would best bring about the results that she was seeking.

The incisions made during the breast augmentation procedure were peri-areolar so that the saline implants could be placed under the breast muscle and tissue. Peri-areolar incisions are one of the two incisions types- the other incision type being inframammary incisions, which are made along the fold underneath the breast- preferred by an overwhelming majority of cosmetic surgeons due to their abilities to result in little to no visible scarring. This is due to the fact that the peri-areolar incision utilizes the body’s natural pigmenting differentiation- between the edge of the areola and the breast’s skin tissue- to create a scar that can more-or-less blend in seamlessly between the pigment differentiations.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the breast augmentation procedure has created a rounder, fuller, and more voluptuous breast profile. The patient has reported that she is immensely satisfied with her breast augmentation results and is very much enjoying her new figure.

This 26-year old female patient came into our offices wanting to give her small A-cup breasts a modest increase in volume and curvature to her upper breast area (also known as the “upper pole”) to full B-cup breasts.

She went through a consultation in which she was told the various risks and complications associated with any surgery as well as the risks and complications associated specifically with breast augmentation procedures. After discussing with her at length about her option between saline and silicone implants (both will have virtually indistinguishable results; these days, the choice is simply a matter of personal preference), she opted for 350 CC moderate profile, smooth round saline implants.

The breast implants in Beverly Hills were inserted through inframammary incisions, which are incisions that follow along the folds at the bottom of the breasts. The inframammary incision is one of two incisions- the other being peri-areolar incisions- most preferred by cosmetic surgeons when performing breast augmentation procedures. This is because both types of incisions- inframammary and peri-areolar- both tend to leave no visible post-op scarring, which is a great advantage when it comes to cosmetic procedures.

The patient was incredibly pleased with her breast augmentation results. Not only did the saline implants give her the fullness and roundness that she desired, but they also gave her new curves a natural look.

  • Post-Op Cup Size: Full C
  • Patient Height: 5' 8"
  • Patient Weight: 125 lbs

This 23-year old female patient desired that her breasts be only slightly larger: she wanted to turn her small B-cup breasts into full C-cup breasts. Her main concern about her breast augmentation procedure was to make sure that her upper breast area, or her “upper pole” area, had increased volume, to create a smoother and more natural-looking breast silhouette.

After reviewing with her the risks and complications that are carried by breast augmentations and surgeries in general, we discussed the different breast implant options available to her: the saline implant or the silicone implant. Although silicone implants have been given a bad rap in the past, modern technology has rendered them comparatively safe when compared to saline implants. Both types of breast implants in Los Angeles have the capability to give patients the results that they desire. This patient decided to go with 400 CC moderate profile, smooth round saline implants to give her the results that she wanted.

The saline implants were inserted under her breast tissue and muscle using inframammary incisions. Inframammary incisions are slightly curved incisions made along the underside of each breast, where the fold is located. These incisions are highly advantageous for breast augmentation procedures because they not only give the cosmetic surgeon a high degree of control over the final location and contour of the breast implants, but they also tend to result in minimal-to-no visible post-op scarring.

As shown in the before and after photos, the goals of the breast augmentation procedure were achieved: the patient’s breasts were slightly enlarged while the upper poles of both breasts were filled out in such a way that her breast profile became more naturally curvaceous. The patient reported that she was very satisfied with the results and is currently enjoying her new figure.

  • Patient Height: 5' 6"

This 22-year old female patient came into our offices desiring breasts that were moderately larger and were more curvaceous. More specifically, she wanted to turn her small A-cup breasts into breasts that were in the mid C-cup range with more fullness to her upper breast region, also known as the “upper pole” area.

During the breast augmentation consultation, the risks and complications associated with breast augmentation procedures, and the risks and complications associated with any kind of surgery, were discussed with the patient. After reviewing the risks and complications, the two types of breast implants were discussed: the saline implant and the silicone implant. Although the silicone implant has been affiliated with a relatively high risk of implant rupture and/or complications, modern technology has been able to engineer silicone implants to be pretty much just as safe as saline implants. The patient ultimately decided upon 450 CC moderate profile, smooth round saline implants.

During the Beverly Hills breast augmentation procedure, the saline implants were inserted under the breast muscle and tissue via inframammary incisions. Inframammary incisions are essentially curved incisions made along the fold underneath each breast. This type of incision gives cosmetic surgeons the ability to place the implants with great precision. They also tend to result in post-op scars that heal well and are either minimally-visible or simply not visible at all.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the breast augmentation procedure was a success. Not only were the breasts enlarged to the size that the patient desired, but the patient’s upper pole area was made rounder and fuller.

  • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small A
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Mid C
  • Patient Height: 5' 2"
  • Patient Weight: 130 lbs

This 29-year old female patient came into our office wanting rounder, fuller, and more curvaceous breasts, especially in the upper breast area, or the “upper pole” area, to better complement her body.

After a consultation going over the risks and complications affiliated with breast augmentations and surgeries in general, we discussed the two types of breast implants available to her: the saline implant and the silicone implant. Even though silicone implants were known to have higher rates of rupture and/or complications in the past, these days, silicone implants are just as safe as saline implants, thanks to advances in medical technology. Ultimately, the choice between getting saline implants or silicone implants for Los Angeles breast augmentation procedures is a personal decision that the patient makes, rather than a clear cut decision based on pros and cons regarding safety versus aesthetics. This patient decided to go with 450 CC moderate profile, smooth round silicone implants to enlarge her breast size from her pre-op small A-cup breasts to a post-op mid C-cup size breasts.

During the breast augmentation procedure, the saline implants were inserted via incisions that were made via the inframammary region. Inframammary incisions are incisions that are made to the underside of the breast, where the breast and the upper ribs meet at a fold. The advantage of this type of incision is two-fold. First, an incision in this area gives the cosmetic surgeon a great deal of precision when it comes to implant placement and contouring. Second, this type of incision not only heals well, leaving little-to-no visible post-op scarring, but in the case that scarring does occur, it is incredibly simple to hide under swimsuits and undergarments as it lies beneath the fold of the breast.

As the before and after pictures show, the goals of the breast augmentation procedure were met. The patient has reported that she is incredibly satisfied with the outcome of the breast augmentation: her upper pole area as well as her breasts overall are now fuller and rounder, all while looking naturally curvaceous.

  • Patient Weight: 95 lbs

This 26-year old patient wanted a breast augmentation in Beverly Hills to give her A-cup breast a modest increase in size to large B-cup, borderline small C-cup breasts, as well as fix her slight breast asymmetry (breast asymmetry occurs when one breast is larger in size than the other breast).

After reviewing with her the surgical risks and complications that she would be undertaking by choosing to undergo a breast augmentation procedure, we discussed the two types of breast implant options available to her: the saline implant and the silicone implant. Although, in the past, the silicone implant has been correlated with higher rates of rupture and complications, these days, both types of implants carry pretty much the same risks as well as having virtually indistinguishable results. Whichever implant is chosen is a personal choice. This patient decided to go with silicone implants to give her the modest breast enlargement that she desired.

During the surgery, inframammary incisions were utilized in order to insert the implants underneath the breast tissue. The inframammary incision is one of two incision types used most during breast augmentation procedures (the other one being the peri-areolar incision). The inframammary incision is utilized so often because of its ability to give the cosmetic surgeon a great deal of control over the final placement and shape of the implant as well as its ability to heal well and result in minimal-to-no visible scarring. Because of the patient’s breast asymmetry, 300 CC moderate plus profile, smooth round silicone implants were used for her right breast and 325 CC moderate plus profile, smooth round silicone implants were used for her left breast.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the breast augmentation procedure was a success. Not only were the patient’s breasts enlarged modestly, but her breast asymmetry was also corrected. She has reported that she is very satisfied with the results and is very much enjoying her new, natural-looking curvy figure.

This 28-year old female patient was interested in enlarging her pre-op small A-cup breasts into moderately-sized mid C-cup breasts, with a fuller upper breast region, which is technically known as the “upper pole”.

After careful review of the risks and complications that she would be undertaking when going through a breast augmentation procedure, we discussed the differences and similarities between the silicone implant and the saline implant. Ultimately, the silicone implant and the saline implant will give patients virtually indistinguishable results; the choice between the two is more-or-less a matter of personal preference. This patient chose 400 CC moderate profile, smooth round saline implants to bring about the results that she desired.

During the breast augmentation surgery, the saline implants were inserted underneath her breast tissue and muscle via peri-areolar incisions. Peri-areolar incisions are half-circle incisions made around the lower half of the nipple, where the areola meets the skin of the breast. The peri-areolar incision, along with the inframammary incision, are the two types of most preferred incisions for breast augmentations due to their abilities to give cosmetic surgeons great control over the final shape and placement of implants. Peri-areolar incisions (as well as the inframammary incision) are preferential to patients as well since they tend to heal very nicely and leave little-to-no visible post-op scarring.

The patient was able to completely enjoy her new figure after a short recovery from her Los Angeles breast implants procedure. As you can see from the before and after photos, her breasts are not fuller and more naturally curvaceous-looking, with virtually no visible scarring.

This 38-year old female patient came into our offices wanting to enlarge her small A-cup breasts into moderately-sized small C-cup breasts.

After going over with her the various risks and complications associated with breast augmentation procedures as well as surgical procedures in general, we discussed the two types of breast implants available to her: the silicone implant and the saline implant. Although silicone implants have gotten a bad rap in the past due to increased cases of ruptures and/or complications when compared to saline implants, this is not the case anymore these days- silicone implants are now generally considered just as safe as saline implants. In this case, the patient chose to have 400 CC high profile, smooth round saline breast implants in Beverly Hills.

Inframammary incisions were used during this breast augmentation procedure. Inframammary incisions are incisions that are cut along the curved underside of the breast, where the crease between the breast and ribs is located. Inframammary incisions are one of the most commonly used incisions during breast augmentations due to their ability to give the cosmetic surgeon a great deal of precision when it comes to breast implant placement and contouring. Inframmamry incisions are also known to result in post-op scars that heal well and lead to minimal-to-no visible scarring at the incision site after the procedure.

This patient has reported that she is very satisfied with the fullness and roundness of her new breast profile and is enjoying her new figure immensely. As the before and after photos show, there is no pretty much no scarring that can be seen.

  • Patient Height: 5' 3"
  • Patient Weight: 138 lbs

This 44-year old female patient was extremely interested in getting a Beverly Hills breast augmentation in order to restore breast volume that was lost due to breastfeeding. She also wanted to subtly enlarge her breasts, focusing more on “perking up” sagging breast tissue, rather than simply getting larger breasts, that was left behind by her stint with breastfeeding.

During her breast augmentation consultation, the patient was made aware of the risks and complications she would be undertaking by having a breast augmentation, or by getting any surgical procedure in general. We then extensively discussed the two different types of breast implants that were available to her: the saline implant and the silicone implant.

The silicone implant has gotten somewhat of a bad rap during the past- they were known to be more susceptible to ruptures and complications when compared to saline implants. But the downside to saline implants was that they didn’t look and feel like natural breast tissue when compared with silicone implants. However, nowadays, the silicone implant is pretty much just as safe as the saline implant and the saline implant looks and feels more or less like a silicone implant. Now, the choice between the saline implant and the silicone implant is, ultimately, a matter of personal preference.

This patient chose to undergo a breast augmentation procedure using silicone implants. It was decided that her right breast would need a 425 CC high profile, round silicone implant while her left breast would need a 400 CC high profile, round silicone implant. This was due to a slight breast asymmetry which required that the right implant be slightly more filled than the left implant to create balanced symmetrical breasts.

During this procedure, the inframammary incision was utilized to insert the silicone implants. Inframammary incisions are slightly curved incisions that are made right at the crease underneath each breast. This incision allows cosmetic surgeons to perform breast augmentations with a high degree of precision when it comes to breast implant placement and formation. This incision also is known to result in very little to no visible scarring from the procedure.

This patient has reported that she is incredibly happy with the outcome of her breast augmentation procedure. As you can see from the before and after pictures, her lost breast volume was not only restored, but her breast profile, especially at her upper breast area (known as the “upper pole”) had a more natural, fuller shape after the procedure. This 40-year old female patient came into our offices wanting a modest increase to the size of her pre-op small A-cup breasts to mid C-cup breasts with a focus on increasing the volume to her upper breast (or “upper pole” area).

During her breast augmentation consultation, she was informed of the various risks and complications that are present in every breast augmentation procedure, and in every surgical procedure, essentially. We then discussed the two types of breast implant options available: the silicone implant and the saline implant. Although many women in the past have been wary about choosing silicone implants due to their higher rates of rupture and complications, a good number of women still chose to do so because of their ability to feel more natural and similar to actual breast tissue than saline implants.

However, these days, modern technology has rendered the differences between the silicone implant and the saline implant to be of little consequence: both types of implants are pretty much just as safe as the other and both types of implants have the ability to produce the desired results. The choice between getting saline implants or silicone implants is more or less a matter of personal preference.

This patient decided to go with saline implants. During the procedure, high profile, smooth round saline implants were inserted underneath the breast tissue and muscle, and each implant was filled to 420 CC.

After a quick recovery, the patient reported that she was very satisfied with the outcome of her Beverly Hills breast augmentation procedure. As you can see from the before and after photos, the breast implant procedure resulted in a fuller and curvier natural-looking breast profile, especially in the upper pole region.

  • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small A
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Full B / Small C
  • Patient Height: 5' 3"

This 38-year old female patient desired a breast augmentation in Los Angeles to give her breasts that better suited, but did not overwhelm, her petite body type. She stated that she wanted to modestly enlarge her pre-op small A-cup breasts into larger, rounder full B-cup/small C-cup breasts.

After being informed of the risks and complications typically associated with breast augmentation procedures, we discussed the two forms of breast implants available for breast augmentation procedures: the silicone breast implant and the saline breast implant.

Although, in the past, silicone implants have been known to rupture and have complications at higher rates than saline implants, they are also known to look and feel more similar to actual breast tissue than silicone implants. However, nowadays, silicone implants and saline implants carry relatively similar levels of rupture and complications (both of which are very low for the two types of implants), and both are capable of mimicking the look and feel of real breasts quite nicely.

This patient chose saline implants for her breast augmentation procedure. During the procedure, the implants were inserted under the breast muscle using inframammary incisions. Inframammary incisions are incisions made along the underside of the breast, at the crease. This type of incision gives the cosmetic surgeon a high degree of control over the final placement and shape of the implant. This type of incision is also known to heal well and tends to result in little-to-no visible scarring.

After a quick, full recovery, the patient reported that she was incredibly happy with her new figure and is very much enjoying the fact that her breasts are now more voluptuous with almost no visible scarring whatsoever.

This 29-year old female patient had recently undergone massive weight loss, which was good news for her overall body image and health but bad news for her breasts- massive weight loss usually means that there will also be a good amount of breast volume loss. She came into our offices wanting to restore her small A-cup breasts to a size similar to what they were before: small C-cups.

We discussed the potential risks and complications carried by any breast augmentation procedure as well as her two choices for breast implants: the saline implant and the silicone implant. In the past, the saline implant has been known to look and feel less like real breast tissue when compared to the silicone implant. And the silicone implant has been known to carry higher chances of rupture or complications than the saline implant. However, these days, advances in medical technology have allowed saline implants to look and feel pretty much like silicone implants, and both types of implants carry pretty much the same very low levels of rupture or complications developing.

After a thorough discussion, the patient decided upon high profile, smooth round saline implants for her breast augmentation procedure. Each implant was inserted under each breast through inframammary incisions and filled with sterile salt water to 430 CC.

The patient has reported that she is extremely satisfied with her breast augmentation in Beverly Hills and, as seen in the picture, is very happy with the restoration of fullness and curves to her breast profile.

This 28-year old female patient was very interested in obtaining a Los Angeles breast augmentation in order to give her small A-cup breasts a modest boost to full B-cup/small C-cup in order to give her petite, yet curvy figure breasts that best compliment the rest of her body.

There are two types of breast implants available for breast augmentation procedures: the silicone breast implant and the saline breast implant. In the past, the differences between the two types of implants were more obvious: the silicone implant carried higher chances of rupture or complications, but it was also the implant that looked and felt more similar to breast tissue.

These days, however, the differences between the two implants are barely noticeable: both the saline and silicone implant carry relatively the same, very low levels of risks and complications and both implants are currently capable of resulting in breasts that look and feel very much like actual breast tissue. The choice between getting the saline implant or the silicone implant is a personal decision rather than a decision based upon distinguishable pros and cons between the two types of implants.

This patient chose to silicone implants for her breast augmentation procedure. The 350 CC moderate plus profile, smooth round silicone implants were inserted under the breast tissue, through inframammary incisions. Inframammary incisions are made at the crease underneath the breasts and are known for their ability to give cosmetic surgeons a high degree of control over the placement and formation of the implants during breast augmentations. These incisions also are known to heal very well, leaving behind only a little, if any, post-op visible scarring.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the patient’s breasts were enlarged to look more voluptuous in a natural way. The patient has reported that she is very happy with the outcome of her breast augmentation and is enjoying her new, curvy figure.

  • Patient Height: 5' 4"
  • Patient Weight: 135 lbs

This 35-year old female patient came into our offices seeking a breast augmentation to increase her small A-cup breasts a couple of cup sizes to small C-cups.

After discussing with her the risks and complications associated with breast augmentations and with surgical procedures in general, we went over her two breast implants options: the silicone implant and the saline implant. Although silicone implants are traditionally known to be more susceptible to rupturing and developing complications than saline implants, but have a look and feel more similar to real breast tissue, this is not the case anymore nowadays. Currently, both silicone and saline implants have very similar, low rates of rupturing or complications and both also look and feel more like actual breast tissue than ever before.

For a great majority of women, the choice between getting silicone implants or saline implants is a matter of personal preference. For women who are under the age of 22, their only option for breast augmentations is the saline implant. (The FDA has approved the silicone implant only for women who are at least 22 years of age.) This patient chose to go with saline implants for her breast augmentation procedure.

During this Beverly Hills breast augmentation, the moderate plus profile, smooth round saline implants were filled to 400 CC through inframammary incisions. Inframammary incisions, along with peri-areolar incisions, are the most preferred types of incisions used during breast augmentations. The inframammary incision is made along the curved crease on the underside of the breast while the peri-areolar incisions is a half-circle incision made on the edge of the areola, where it meets the skin of the breast.

Both types of incisions give the cosmetic surgeon a high degree of precision when it comes to implant placement and final shaping. Both also are known to lead to minimal-to-no visible post-op scarring. Whether the inframammary or the peri-areolar incision is used depends upon the patient’s preference, the extent of the breast augmentation, and whether or not the cosmetic surgeon with one technique over the other, although skilled cosmetic surgeons should not have any problem performing either technique.

After a quick recovery, the patient reported that she was very satisfied with the results of the breast augmentation and happy with the overall roundness and fullness of her post-op breasts, as shown in the picture.

This 58-year old female patient desired a breast augmentation procedure to restore breast volume she had lost due to general aging as well as undergoing weight loss. She specifically wanted to enlarge her small A-cup breasts to small C-cup breasts.

After discussing with her the two Beverly Hills breast implant options she had for her breast augmentation- silicone implants and saline implants- she decided to go with saline implants. Silicone implants, in the past, have been known to be more susceptible to ruptures and development of complications than saline implants, but have also been known to be more similar to real breast tissue in terms of look and feel.

In essence, the decision between saline and silicone implants in the past was a decision between aesthetics and safety. However, these days, women do not need to make such a decision: both implants carry the same, low risks of rupture and complications, and both have the ability to look and feel like actual breast tissue, thanks to advances in modern medical technology.

During the breast augmentation procedure, the moderate plus profile, smooth round saline implants were inserted under the breast muscle and tissue through inframammary incisions and filled to 450 CC. Inframammary incisions are incisions that are made at the underside of the breast, right along the crease where the breast meets the upper section of the ribs. The inframammary incision is often utilized due to its ability to give cosmetic surgeons a great deal of accuracy when it comes to implant placement and shaping. The inframammary incision also usually preferred by patients because it tends to leave minimal-to-no visible scarring.

As the before and after pictures show, the breast augmentation restored the patient’s lost breast volume in a very natural and curvaceous manner. The patient has reported that she is very satisfied with the outcome of the procedure.

  • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small A
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Mid C
  • Patient Height: 5' 6"
  • Patient Weight: 135 lbs

This 25-year old female patient came into our offices wanting a breast augmentation to modestly increase her small A-cup breasts to mid-C cup breasts. She also wanted to specifically increase the volume to her upper breast area, or as it is also known, the upper pole area.

There are two types of implants available for breast augmentation procedures: the saline implant and the silicone implant. The silicone has typically been known to be more susceptible to rupture and complications development than saline implants. However, saline implants have been known to look and feel more like real breasts than saline implants.

Thankfully, these days the differences between silicone and saline implants are much smaller: there is almost no difference between neither the rupture and complication levels of silicone and saline implants- both types of implants carry very low rates of rupture and complications nowadays- nor the results that either implant produces (both the saline and silicone implant are able to mimic the look and feel of real breast tissue better than ever). The choice between silicone and saline implants at this point is a personal one.

This patient chose to have her breast augmentation procedure completed with moderate profile, smooth round saline implants. During the procedure, the implants were inserted through inframammary incisions and filled to 430 CC in each breast.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the breast augmentation in Los Angeles successfully increased the volume to her breasts overall and, specifically, her upper pole area. The patient has reported that she not only went through a quick recovery but is also very satisfied with the outcome of her breast augmentation procedure.

  • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small A
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Full C
  • Patient Height: 5' 5"
  • Patient Weight: 125 lbs

This 39-year old female patient wanted to have full-appearing breasts by increasing her small A-cup breasts to full C-cups, with special attention paid to increasing the volume of her upper beast region (the upper pole).

Because the FDA has approved the silicone implant for patients over the age of 22, this patient had a choice to make: the silicone implant or the saline implant. Although, in the past, silicone implants have been known to be more susceptible to ruptures and developing complications than saline implants, these days, both types of implants carry a very low risk of rupturing or developing complications, thanks to advances in modern medical technology.

Also, even though silicone implants have been known to result in breasts that look and feel more like breasts that do not have implants, this has also changed recently- both types of implants are now capable of looking and feeling more like real breasts than ever before.

This patient chose to go with the moderate plus profile, smooth round saline implant for her breast implant procedure. The saline implants were inserted under her breast tissue through inframammary incisions. These types of incisions give the cosmetic surgeon a great deal of control over final implant location and shape. Also, inframammary incisions tend to lead to almost no scarring, if any, due to their location: underneath the breast at the crease.

As shown in the before and after photos, the Los Angeles breast augmentation gave the patient the fuller, rounder breast profile that she was looking for with virtually no visible scarring. She has reported that she is incredibly satisfied with the results of her breast augmentation procedure.

  • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small A
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Full C / Small D
  • Patient Height: 5'4
  • Patient Weight: 120 lbs

This 24-year old patient came into our offices seeking a breast augmentation to increase her small A-cup breasts to full C-cup/small D-cup breasts.

After discussing with her the various risks and complications associated with breast augmentation procedures as well as surgical procedures in general, we went over the two types of breast implants available to her: the silicone implant and the saline implant. Because the FDA has approved silicone implants for patients over the age of 22, this patient had the choice to make between getting silicone implants or saline implants.

Although silicone implants felt and looked more like real breast tissue than saline implants, silicone implants have tended to get a bad rap in the past due to their higher chances of rupturing or developing complications when compared to saline implants. However, these days, thanks to the wonders of modern medical technology, there are no major differences between the two breast implants in Beverly Hills other than the material that is inside the implants. Both silicone implants and saline implants have similar, very low rates of rupturing and complications, and both implants have the ability to look and feel like real breast tissue better than before.

This patient chose to have her breast augmentation using high profile, smooth round silicone at 500CC in order to bring about the post-op breast size that she desired. During the procedure, the implants were inserted under each breast’s tissue using inframammary incisions. These incisions are made along the crease underneath the breasts, giving the cosmetic surgeon a great deal of precision when it comes to implant placement and contouring. The inframammary incision also tends to leave behind little-to-no visible post-op scarring.

As the before and after pictures show, the breast augmentation was successful at giving the patient the large, full breasts that she desired. She has reported that her recovery was very quick and is extremely satisfied with the outcome of her breast augmentation procedure.

  • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small A
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Mid C
  • Patient Height: 5'7
  • Patient Weight: 125 lbs

This 28-year old female patient wanted to give her petite figure more fullness and curves through a breast augmentation enlarging her small A-cup breasts to modest mid C-cup breasts.

Like the great majority of breast augmentation patients, this patient needed to decide whether she wanted the silicone implant or the saline implant to be used for her breast augmentation. For patients that are under the age of 22, their breast augmentation procedure is limited to saline implants because the FDA has not approved silicone implants for patients who are under the age of 22.

The silicone implant has gotten a bad rap in the past for being more susceptible to ruptures and complications than the saline implant even though it had the ability to look and feel like actual non-implant breasts. But these days, the silicone implant carries very similar, very low levels of potential rupturing and complications as the saline implant, while the saline implant has been engineered to look and feel like real breast tissue as much as silicone implants do.

In essence, the choice between implants for a modern breast augmentation is one of personal preference rather than a choice between distinct pros and cons of the two different implants. This patient chose to go with 375 CC moderate plus profile, smooth round silicone implants for her procedure.

The implants were inserted under her breast tissue using inframammary incisions (incisions made along the crease at the underside of her breasts), which give cosmetic surgeons a high degree of accuracy when it comes to implant location and shaping. These incisions also tend to heal very well, leaving behind very little post-op scarring, if any.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the Los Angeles breast augmentation gave the patient the fuller, rounder breast profile that she desired with virtually no visible scarring. She has reported that she is very satisfied with the procedure and is enjoying her new figure.

  • Pre-Op Cup Size: Small B
  • Post-Op Cup Size: Full C / Small D
  • Patient Height: 5'6
  • Patient Weight: 135 lbs

This 26-year old patient came into our offices desiring a breast augmentation to enhance her small B-cup breasts into natural-looking full C-cup/small D-cup breasts.

After going over the risks and complications associated with breast augmentation surgery with the patient, we discussed the two types of Beverly Hills breast implants available for her breast augmentation procedure: the saline implant and the silicone implant. The silicone implant has, in the past, been known to be more susceptible to complications and rupturing than the saline implant, but it has also known to mimic real breast tissue better than saline implants. Basically, in the past, the choice between the two breast implants was a choice between aesthetics and potential health complications.

Luckily, these days, the choice between the silicone and saline implant carries less risky consequences. The silicone implant now has very low chances of rupturing or complications, much like the saline implant. And the saline implant has been engineered in such a way that it now has the ability to look and feel more like real breast tissue just like the silicone implant. This patient chose 500CC high profile, smooth round silicone implants for her breast implant procedure.

As the before and after pictures show, the breast augmentation procedure gave the patient the larger, fuller, and rounder breast profile that she desired. As you can see, there was also virtually no visible post-op scarring due to the use of inframammary incisions, which are incisions made along the curved crease underneath the breast and tends to heal well, leaving little-to-no scarring.
