Why should I have a breast augmentation?

Too Small:

Too Large:

Women with larger than normal breasts suffer from this added heavier weight. This affects their daily lives in a negative way. If you have too large of breasts it will cause neck, back, and shoulder pain. Migraines and headaches are also reported as painful symptoms. A breast reduction may help reduce your breasts to a proportionate size.

Sagging:

Aging, weight loss, and several other factors can cause changes to the size and shape of a woman’s breasts. Have you lost the firmness and upward position of your breasts? Talk to Dr. Kapoor about a breast lift in Los Angeles. This may help you regain the position and shape you want.

Asymmetrical:

Do you suffer from asymmetrical breasts? Breast asymmetry correction will help to balance out your chest. It also gives you a well-proportioned body. This surgery improves the daily lives of many women. They feel more confident in clothes and when they exercise. There are many functional and aesthetic benefits of symmetrical breasts. Talk to Dr. Kapoor about this corrective breast surgery today.

Reconstruction Post-Mastectomy:

A mastectomy is a surgery that removes one or both breasts during the treatment of breast cancer. This reconstructive procedure is an option after mastectomy. It helps to keep your female figure and is a physical and psychological benefit. Breast reconstruction surgery often involves the use of implants. Sometimes women use their own fat and tissue from their abdomens to get the result they want.

Lost Volume and Deflation Post-Pregnancy:

Pregnancy can take a real toll on your body. Mothers often notice a loss of shape and size in their breasts after breastfeeding. Motherhood is a great joy for women. But childbirth will also wreak havoc on your body. Has your body changed a lot since you had your baby? You might be a candidate for a Mommy Makeover. This often includes breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and liposuction. The goal is to restore your pre-childbirth, youthful figure!

Abnormal Or Disfigured Shape:

Many women want rounder, fuller, perkier breasts. Some women are happy with the size of their breasts. But they want to improve the shape and proportion of their chests. This helps to reveal more attractive cleavage and doesn’t always involve using implants.

Fixing A Prior Surgery:

There are many, many reasons for breast revision surgery. Some women express dissatisfaction with prior surgical results. While some may suffer from unexpected post-surgical pain. Often, many women wish to change their implant material or size. Dr. Kapoor is here to make these revisions and give you the results you’ve wanted.

Types Of Breast Implants

One size does not fit all with breast implants. If there were only one breast implant that was the best, you would not see other options available to you. Each breast implant has its pros and cons. These are important for you to consider and discuss with Dr. Kapoor. During your consultation, you will be able to decide which type of breast implant is right for you.

Saline Breast Implants
  • The exterior sac of the implant consists of solid silicone;
  • The implant contains a sterile saline solution;
  • Better safety profile (in case of leakage saline is harmless when absorbed by the body);
  • Recommended if you have enough natural tissue (“B” or “C” cup);
  • Inserted through a smaller incision;
  • Final size adjusts by the differential filling of saline.
Silicone Breast Implants
  • These implants are pre-filled with a cohesive silicone gel;
  • Feels more “natural” than saline breast implants;
  • Recommended for thin patients that have very little tissue;
  • Results of a 2007 national study showed no adverse effects because of silicone;
  • Silicone breasts implants are now approved for use in almost all women.
