This patient had come into our offices wanting breasts that were more lifted and firmer as well as an abdominal region that was slimmer and tighter. She had developed a sagging look about her body due to the collection of excess skin after a gastric bypass surgery that prompted her to lose a significant amount of weight.
During her pre-op consultation and examination, we determined that a breast lift with implants would be best able to give her the breasts that she desired and that a tummy tuck with liposuction would be able to best give her the tummy that she wanted.
We performed an anchor-type breast lift (mastopexy), which means that we created an incision that ran vertically underneath her nipples and along the curvature on the underside of each breast, much in the shape of an anchor, hence the name of the procedure. During her breast lift, we inserted 550CC round, high profile silicone implants so that we could give her fuller, rounder breasts giving her a post-op D cup size, as evident in her after pictures.
The tummy tuck was able to give her the slimmer, tighter abdominal region that she desired.
As you can see in her after pictures, the breast lift was able to give the patient an enhanced breast contour with an uplifted look about her breasts that improved the positioning of her nipples. The patient's "after" photos were taken 5 months after her breast lift procedure. The scars will continue to fade over the next few months until they are minimally visible.
